The CDBA is establishing a stand-alone regatta series that will be run over four consecutive Friday evenings during January 2011.

The regatta series will consist of a maximum 10 teams racing mixed 10-a-side, at Commonwealth Place in Lake Burley Griffin’s Central Basin, over 200 metres.

Rather than run as traditional club vs. club, the FIVE:5 Twilight Regattas will be contested by teams comprised of any five CDBA members and five non-members. The five CDBA members may come from any of the existing clubs. The non-members have no restrictions placed upon them, with the exception they must be eligible for CDBA membership.

The sweep must be an accredited CDBA sweep, and the drummer may or may not be a CDBA member – just so long as they are over 12 years of age.

In all other instances, the FIVE:5 Twilight Regattas runs to the same rules as all other CDBA events.

In summary...

• A mixed 10-a-side regatta series, run on Friday evenings during January 2011.
• Teams of five CDBA members, plus five non-members.
• CDBA members come from any CDBA club.
• $200per team for the entire regatta series.
• Non-members who join receive discounted membership.
• Entries closing on Tuesday 4 January 2011 – hurry, limited entries.

CDBA Clubs who have lost or misplaced the original Entry Form and/or Team List for each Regatta can download the generic templates from this site.

Please note that Entry Forms are always due the MONDAY BEFORE EACH REGATTA. For example, Entry Forms for a regatta on 18 December would be due by Monday 13 December.  Team Lists are due on the day of the regatta by 6.45am and must be handed in person.

Interstate Clubs should use the Entry Forms available on Regatta page (in the public domain) as they are not required to supply volunteers/officials.
